LET NOT the believers take those who deny the truth for their allies in preference to the believers - since he who does this cuts himself off from God in everything - unless it be to protect yourselves against them in this way. But God warns you to beware of Him: for with God is all journeys' end.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Quran Verse Image Generator free?

Yes. All 6,236 verses, the English translation, 19 reciters, every image size and every style are free, with no account required.

Which Quran text and translation does it use?

The Arabic text is the Uthmani script from the Tanzil Project (tanzil.net, licensed CC BY 3.0, used unchanged), served via AlQuran.cloud, and every image carries “Quran text: tanzil.net”. The English translation is Muhammad Asad's The Message of the Qur'an (en.asad), which is copyrighted and credited as “Translation: Muhammad Asad” on every image that shows it.

Can I use the generated images commercially?

Not commercially. The images are free for personal, non-commercial sharing. The print carries “Quran text: tanzil.net”, and “Translation: Muhammad Asad” when it shows the translation (only the site name can be switched off), the translation is copyrighted by its rights holder, and the Arabic text is licensed CC BY 3.0 (Tanzil) and must stay unchanged.

Does it work offline?

No. The application requires an internet connection to load verses from the server and stream audio recitations. There is no offline mode at this time.

Which Arabic script does it use?

The Uthmani script from the Tanzil Project, shown exactly as published, including the Bismillah the source places at the start of the first verse of each surah except At-Tawbah. Turning Diacritics off shows the source's Simple Clean edition.

Which image sizes and formats can I download?

Five sizes: Portrait 4:5 (1080×1350, the default), Square (1080×1080), Story 9:16 (1080×1920), Wide 16:9 (1920×1080), and Link preview (1200×630). Download as JPG (the default) or PNG. Choose from eight styles, or use your own photo, which stays on your device and is never uploaded.

How can I share the image?

On phones, and in browsers that support it, Share opens your device's own share sheet with the image file, so WhatsApp, Instagram and the rest are whatever your device offers. Elsewhere you can copy the image, the link or the text, or use the links to share on X, Facebook and Pinterest. Pinterest sharing uploads the image to imgbb.com first.
