Read and reflect on verse 1084 from Surah Al-A'raaf: And most certainly did We overwhelm Pharaoh's people with drought and scarcity of fruits, so that they might take it to heart....
وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِالسِّنِينَ وَنَقْصٍ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
