Read and reflect on verse 197 from Surah Al-Baqara: AND FIGHT in God's cause against those who wage war against you, but do not commit aggression-for, verily, God does not love aggressors....

وَقَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ
